A Real Winter at Last
This is the first real winter we have had since we came to South Petherton. Both the multi fuel stoves have been earning their keep certainly for January and February. The garden thermometer went down to -10 and then came the snow. We were fortunate that we did not have as much as some places but then apart from the main street in the village their was little sign of gritting anywhere else so the roads became very slippery. For 3 days the Co-op was without any milk and quite a few other things as their delivery lorries did not arrive. I take my hat off to the milkman who trundled round the village in his van I am not sure if he missed any deliveries but I am sure it was not many. Maureen as usual was walking Max and took the camera with her and I have put a few of the in an album. Click to view Go to Album
